It’s time to let your hair down and dance the night away! Hairspray, Broadway’s musical comedy phenomenon is coming to when The Jonathan Law High School Drama Club Proudly Presents HAIRSPRAY the Musical March 16 and 17 at 7pm and March 18 at 3pm.

Be swept away to 1960s Baltimore in this fantastically fun international smash-hit musical, piled bouffant-high with laughter and romance — and enough deliriously tuneful songs to fill a nonstop platter party. It’s Hairspray, live on stage, in living color! .

In Hairspray it's 1962—the '50s are out and change is in the air. Baltimore's Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big hair and an even bigger heart, has only one passion—to dance. She wins a spot on the local TV dance program, "The Corny Collins Show" and, overnight, is transformed from outsider to irrepressible teen celebrity. But can a plus-size trendsetter in dance and fashion vanquish the program's reigning princess, win the heart of heartthrob Link Larkin, and integrate a television show without denting her 'do? Only in Hairspray! Welcome to the '60s!

Hairspray is based on the New Line Cinema film written and directed by John Waters. It features a book by Mark O’Donnell and Thomas Meehan. Hairspray features an original score by Academy Award-nominated Marc Shaiman and lyrics by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.

Directed and Choreographed by Michael R. Mele with Musical Direction by Jean Kuchma Kovac and Jeffrey Wood. The show boasts a cast of over 30 JLHS students and includes some very special guest cameos by Law faculty and staff.

Tickets for the show are $10 for Adults/Students and $5 for Seniors. To reserve tickets or for more information please call 914-439-6405.

I don't mind more pizza if its good pizza. There are plenty of horrible and so-so pizza places inRead More Milford. Currently 314 B-port Ave is a boarded up building with a parking lot where cops love to sit. Either this will prevent cops from sitting their or will cause them to sit there more. Also ladies, Milford is known for its P's: pizza, porn, package, and pawn.

I second Christina! Is no one listening? we are up to our ears in pizza! Im pretty sure we have moreRead More pizza in milford than new haven! Where is this trailer going to park at the devon market!? the traffic the market creates is bad enough for people that live in that area without a mobile oven rolling on in! I hope they have thought of that issue at the very least!
