Shovel Time Again: More Snow Is Headed Our Way
A winter weather advisory has been issued for most of the state Saturday, with the eastern shoreline — parts of which could see 6-8 inches of snow during the day — under a winter storm watch.
After Connecticut spent much of the day Friday digging itself out from under Thursday's nor'easter — more snow is headed our way.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for much of the state Saturday. The advisory will go into effect late Saturday morning and run through to early Sunday morning.
Snowfall totals for most of the state are expected to be anywhere from 2 to 5 inches with this latest weather system.
New London County, however, which was spared the worst of this week's nor'ester, looks to bear the most significant portion of Saturday's storm.
The NWS has issued a winter storm watch for the eastern shoreline, predicting the region could see snow fall rates Saturday from 1 to 2 inches per hour, with a potential for total accumulations of up to 6 to 8 inches of snow.
