Thursday's winter storm may finally be over, but it appears that it is still having an impact.

United Illuminating is reporting that 2,655 of its customers in Milford — or about 9 percent of the city — are now without power.

According to the utility company's outage map report, the incident occurred at 11:51 a.m.

A crew is on its way to the scene of the line interruption, which is located within the Mills Avenue and Chester Street area.

UI officials are estimating power should be fully restored by 3 p.m. this afternoon.

At this time, there is one other minor outage in Milford. For that incident, one customer has reported they are currently without electricity.
