Milford Forecast to Get 10-14 Inches

Snow showers to likely begin overnight Thursday and intensify Friday evening.

 

By Saturday afternoon, Milford could be blanketed with more than a foot of snow.

The National Weather Service is forecasting 10 to 14 inches of snow for Milford, with the heaviest periods of accumulation late Friday night.

Here's a more detailed look at our local forecast for the next 36 hours:

Tonight: A chance of snow, mainly after 3am. Cloudy, with a low around 24. East wind 8 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Friday: Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 36. Breezy, with a northeast wind 14 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

Friday night: Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 22. Windy, with a north wind 24 to 28 mph, with gusts as high as 46 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 10 to 14 inches possible.

Saturday: Snow likely, mainly before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 26. Blustery, with a north wind 22 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
