Celebrate Milford Patch's Birthday

As we turn 1 today, we'd like to thank you!

From the beginning it was always all about you.

One year later -- yup, today's our first birthday -- and our commitment to serving the Milford community has only grown stronger. And as we hit this proud moment we want to take time to thank you for welcoming us into your daily lives and making Milford Patch a vibrant and vital part of the community.

We view ourselves as a service provider and believe that is only truly possible if we know what you want. There are many ways you have and can continue to do that:

We also , because we know the Internet is awesome but that nothing could ever replace the importance of meeting and connecting in person.

Looking back on the past year we could undoubtedly pick a few highlights from our archives of news and information, but what's the fun in that. We'd rather know what you like about Milford Patch and what you think we can do better.

So, in keeping in line with our role as an interactive platform for the community and as your birthday present to Milford Patch, tell us in the comments below what you like, what your favorite stories have been, what you'd like to see more of and what we can do to better serve you.

Thank you!

Happy Birthday and special One Year Anniversary to the Patch...et al. You are doing an excellent job of engaging the community and keeping the content fresh and interesting. I look forward to celebrating your 'birthdays' year after year. Best wishes for all (continuing) good things in the years to come. Keep up the good work!

Enjoy reading the local Milford articles you provide. Especially the coverage you give to the West Shore Middle School veteran dinners and veteran appreciation activities headed up by Mr Tom Acri and his students. Happy Birthday!!!

Since the Milford Citizen ceased publication 16 years ago, their has been a void in local"daily" news coverage. Milford Patch has helped fill that void. Good job Milford Patch and Happy Birthday!!!!!!

I've grown to like the Patch very much. It is a very open forum and democratic (small 'd' was intentional). I now prefer the Patch to the Post and the Register for straight news. Good job.

Happy One Year Anniversary Milford Patch! I was introduced to the publication over the last few months and since then I have been talking it up with my friends and colleagues. I look forward to reading daily news about Milford and to learning about events happening in the community.

Happy Birthday Milford Patch! Reminiscing> my first Patch mission: business listings:-p.....first meeting w/ Denise at the former Presto restaurant......our freelance "girl's night" out at Conte's w/ Judy, Denise and Pam, our pizza party at the former, Bazso's..lots of fun! But the best was connecting with all the members of the community. I've always had a fondness for Milford but writing for Patch has allowed me to truly see the whole picture as it is, "A small city with a big heart." The enthusiasm and dedication of the residents here have blown me away countless times. Whether it is a neighbor that need a helping hand, a school fundraiser, carrying groceries to a car or an illness; Milford takes the cake.
