A Heartfelt Farewell

I am leaving my position at Milford Patch to move onto new opportunities and introducing you to your new Local Editor.

I was born and raised in Milford, but it wasn't until I become the Milford Patch Local Editor that I began to appreciate all of the generous personalities that make up our population of 50,000+ citizens.

Over the past year, Milford has experienced the devastation of Hurricane Sandy, the excitement of the 2012 election season and I've enjoyed meeting many of you in person during office hours at Cafe Atlantique, interacting with you in the Milford Patch comments section, and communicating with Milford residents over the phone and through email.

The most memorable part of my time at Milford Patch has been experiencing the giving nature of Milford residents. It seems like every weekend there is a new fundraiser and so many citizens give their time to all kinds of different causes. I think that this is what Milford should always be most known for and it's how I will remember it.

Milford Patch users are in good hands with Jason Bagley, a member of the Patch editorial team and the new Milford Patch Local Editor. Jason has been something of a mentor to me during my time at Patch and I will continue to follow his great work as a fan of Milford Patch.

Yours Truly,

Ryan Sartor
