Perfect Day for Sprint and Grandparents Day

The weather was picture perfect recently, when over 200 parents, grandparents and friends gathered at St. Mary School to cheer on the students during the school's 3rd Annual Sprint and Grandparents Day.  They watched and cheered on the students as they completed laps around the school to raise money for the Home School Association.  Our guests of honor, our Grandparents, were greeted by a large photo collage of pictures sent in by the families, were given VIP badges to wear for the day, and all were entered to win hearty raffle baskets.  In addition, they were treated to a delicious breakfast spread of baked goods prepared by a school parent and a large luncheon that was generously donated by Napoli Deli of Milford.  Our guests also had the opportunity to visit the classrooms, meet the teachers and see the kids in action.  It was a fun day and a great example of how the entire SMS community comes together to raise funds for the school and how we always find special ways to honor the people we love and care for - our grandparents on this day!
