Kindergarteners Get Friendly Visit From Milford Police

Lesson in Police Work a Treat for St. Mary Kindergarteners

We have had many interesting visitors this year, and on Wednesday, May 23rd, St. Mary School enjoyed another one when the Kindergarten Class hosted an
exciting visit from Officer Bill Localzo of the Traffic Division of the Milford
Police Department. Officer Localzo discussed many important safety topics with
the children such as how to be safe when riding a bicycle and scooter, how to
safely cross the street, and what to do if a stranger approaches.

The children also learned about what it is like to work as a police officer
and were also given an opportunity to ask their own questions.
Finally, the children were able to check out a real police
motorcycle!  Thank you so much to Officer Localzo and the Milford
Police Department for sharing this exciting day with the St. Mary School
Kindergarten!
