Author Bonnie Feuer Visits St. Mary School

Local Author Spends Quality Time With St. Mary School Students

October is National Book Month, and on October 24th, St. Mary School’s third
grade class had a special visit with local author and educator, Bonnie Feuer.  Bonnie, author of Wallaby the Wanna-be, joined the students and teachers for a reading and book signing.  A question and answer session was followed by a group discussion on the development of the book and how Sharai Platt, the illustrator, brought the story to life.  The students also got a glimpse at their second book, Goliath’s Secret, which will be released shortly.  A reception followed as Bonnie mingled with the students as they shared their own creative writing work with her.

Bonnie, a Milford educator, has been touring schools this past year and has done numerous signings at various book stores. She has been cited by Milford’s Mayor and Milford Public School’s Superintendent for her educational, entertaining, and creative accomplishments.  How lucky are we?  What a treat is was for all the third grade students!

Enrichment is alive and well at St. Mary School!

To clarify, they have 4 cats, and they're only able to take two of them, plus their 14 year old dog.Read More It was a struggle for them to even find a way to get the dog in the rental agreement, otherwise they would have tried to take them. :(

Sad that they had to leave these beauties behind. I'm sure they are heartbroken over it.

Please contact Forgotten Felines in Clinton. They are a no kill cat shelter. Offering "free toRead More a good home" pets is dangerous. There are bad people out there who take them and sell them to research labs or use them as bait in dog fighting. Please rethink this ad.
