SportzEdge, CIAC Join Milford Boys & Girls Club for Sports Equipment Drive

All Donations Will Be Given Directly To The Milford, CT Boys & Girls Club

Milford, CT—March 17, 2014—SportzEdge has teamed up with the CIAC (Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference) and the Milford Boys & Girls Club to host the SportzEdge Sports Equipment Drive.

Many youth athletes in the community do not have the resources to participate in athletic programs due to the cost of equipment. Join the movement and participate in the SportzEdge Sports Equipment Drive. Any and all new or gently used sports equipment can be donated, including but not limited to:

·         Baseball and Softball – Balls, Gloves, Catcher’s Gear, Bats, Bases, Scorebooks

·         Basketball – Balls, Nets, Cones, Referee Shirts, Ball Pump w/Needles, Scorebooks

·         Bicycles and Helmets

·         Dodgeball – Balls

·         Football – Balls, Pads, Helmets

·         Golf – Clubs, Balls

·         Gymnastics – Mats

·         Hockey – Pucks, Skates, Pads, Goalie Gear, Helmet, Sticks

·         Lacrosse – Balls, Sticks, Pads, Helmets

·         Portable Scoreboards

·         Roller Hockey – Skates, Helmets, Pads, Sticks, Balls

·         Roller Skating/Blading – Skates, Helmets, Pads

·         Soccer – Balls, Cleats, Shin Guards

·         Tennis – Balls, Rackets

·         Volleyball – Balls, Nets, Pads

All collected donations will be distributed to Connecticut Boys and Girls Clubs through Boys and Girls Club Alliance now through Friday, March 28th. There are two drop off locations in Milford: Boys and Girls Club of Milford – 14 Benham Avenue – Monday thru Friday, 12 to 6PM and Foran High School – 80 Foran Road.
