Quinnipiac University appoints Milford resident as assistant director of development for parents and families

Kierran Broatch, of Milford, has been appointed assistant director of development for parents and families at Quinnipiac University.

In his new position, Broatch is responsible for establishing relationships between the parents of Quinnipiac students and the university to increase participation in the Parents Council, which strives to get parents more involved with the university through engagement, career development and philanthropy. 

“I am thrilled to be building realtionships with parents and families of current students and alumni to help further the university’s mission,” Broatch said.

Before coming to Quinnipiac, Broatch worked for more than six years as volunteer and outreach coordinator at Save the Sound. He earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Eastern Connecticut State University.

Quinnipiac is a private, coeducational, nonsectarian institution located 90 minutes north of New York City and two hours from Boston.
