Porkenstein Opens Saturday in Milford

Award-winning Pantochino Productions Inc. opens it new season of original family theatre on Saturday, October 19th with "Porkenstein!" based on the popular children's book by Kathryn Lasky. Adapted for the stage by Bert Bernardi and Justin Rugg, the musical follows the story of Dr. Pig (Owen Murphy of New York City) and his faithful assistant Feegor (Rachael Dugas of Milford) as they attempt to create a 'wolf proof' pig in time for Halloween. The fun-filled tale proves friendship comes in all shapes, sizes and appetites! Also featured in the cast are Jimmy Johansmeyer of West Haven, Shelley Marsh Poggio of Durham, Kelsey Sullivan of Shelton and Jessica Gagne of Seymour.  Performances are Saturday, October 19 at 2 & 5:30pm, Sunday, October 20 at 2pm, Friday, October 25 at 7:30pm, Saturday, October 26 at 2 & 5:30pm and Sunday, October 27 at 2pm. All seats are $17. and are available online at www.pantochino.com or at the door.
