Slant of Light Productions and The Bridge House Restaurant present the mystery-comedy "Last Call at the Chez Mort" by Lee Mueller in a two-night-only dinner theater fundraiser in April.
"Last Call at the Chez Mort" centers on a bizarre death at a night club in the 1940s. Was it an accident – or was it murder? The police inspector can pin it on the gangster, the showgirl, the French guy or the Russian with the hatchet. Will he pick the correct culprit?
Proceeds from the performances and dinner benefit Slant of Light Productions, a Milford-based non-profit theater and production company. The murder mystery is directed by Slant of Light Executive Director Stacy Ruttenberg and features local actors.
"Last Call at the Chez Mort" runs at The Bridge House Restaurant (49 Bridgeport Avenue in Milford) Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12 at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7:15 p.m.
Tickets are $45 and include a three-course dinner, tax, gratuity, and a seat at the show. To purchase tickets, email Slant of Light Executive Director Stacy Ruttenberg at email@example.com or visit www.soflproductions.org. Funds raised go toward educational arts and outreach programs in the community, as well as future productions.
