Many local artist's interpretations of Milford's rich heritage from a list of Milford landmarks provided by The Milford Historical Society have gone on display at the Parsons Complex as part of Milford's 375th celebration. They are on the first floor to the right of the main entrance by the employee lounge.
The winning art work was the "Mayor's Choice" award went to Elena Gerard and will become part of the permanent art collection. Mayor Ben Blake and Bob Gregory from the 375th committee presented the $1,000 winning prize.
Many paintings are for sale to brighten a home or office and will be shown until September 26. The winning entry will become part of the City Hall permanent collection.
The Milford Arts Council Trustees Student Tile Mosaic Quilt Project was unveiled by Paige Miglio.
