Milford Kiwanis Club To Participate In 39th Annual Milford Oyster Fest

The Milford Kiwanis Club will be on-hand at the Milford Oyster Festival this year, happening August 17, rain or shine.  The Club will have a booth in the Food Court, serving up all of the favorites: hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, fried shrimp, scallops, oysters and clams, sausage and peppers, lobster rolls, pulled pork, cold calamari salad, as well as soft drinks and water.

“The Milford Oyster Fest is the event of the summer – and is a wonderful way to support the local community and businesses, as well as area charities,” said Gideon King, Participation Coordinator for the Kiwanis Club. “The Kiwanis Club is proud to support Milford, and be recognized as a Charitable Food Vendor. All proceeds received that day will be put directly into local and international charitable funds. ”

To volunteer for the day or for more information, visit: www.milfordkiwanis.org or contact Gideon King at: gideon_king@yahoo.com.

About The Kiwanis Club
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. Kiwanians are volunteers changing the world through service to children and communities. Kiwanis members help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged, and care for the sick. They develop youth as leaders, build playgrounds, raise funds for pediatric research, and much more. No problem is too big or too small. Why? Because working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. When you give a child a chance to learn, experience, dream, and succeed, great things happen!
