Kevin Morse: Athur, Educator, Mentor, Minor Pro Linebacker

2003 Jonathan Law High School graduate Kevin Morse has lived an amazing life.  His latest venture, a linebacker for the CT CHIEFS Minor Professional football team. This past Sunday Kevin stood strong over the DC Bears for a 36-18 win.  If you would like to see Kevin play, his next game is July 12th.  Check the web page for more details. http://ctfootballchiefs.com

This isn't Kevin's first time on the field.  In addition to playing for during High School, he went on to play for the CT Bearcats where he was a starting linebacker and made the all-star team and won the championship for their league in 2010 and 2011.

Beyond football, Kevin is currently writting a book about addiction, recovery, detection, and living a sober life.  This subject is very close to his heart, and is proud to have drawn on his past experience to help others.

Mr Morse has spoken on many state forums to push for change with young adults and addiction treatment options.  He also tours high schools around CT, speaking about addiction and recovery, and sits on several boards working on making the changes needed to keep our kids safe and drug free. He currently is the president of a new non profit in Milford called the R.E.A.C.H Out program.

"We are pushing for more addiction recovery support in the schools and more help and options for young adults and teens" said Morse, "I am grateful for my 5 years of sobriety, and want to help as many teens and young adults to avoid some of the mistakes I made at that age."

Kevin is also a State certified addiction recovery coach and works in the field at RNP, Recovery Network Of Programs out of Bridgeport.

He lives a life that is full of passion and love for others, when he isn't "Laying some dude out after he broke a tackle."
