Earned Income Tax Credits and Free Tax Assistance

Tax season is here.  You may qualify for Earned Income Tax Credits (EITC).  This credit can be a boost to you, your family and community.  If your earnings are under $51,567, see if you qualify at www.irs.gov/eitc, or visit a volunteer tax assistance site. Free volunteer tax help is available if you need assistance in preparing your tax returns. IRS certified volunteers are part of the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program.
