July is United Way Month at ShopRite of Milford! During the month of July, United Way volunteers will be outside ShopRite selling hot dogs and sodas every Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm. Donations can also be made at the registers. 100% of the proceeds will go to the United Way of Milford to benefit the 20 partner agencies and local programs that fall under the organization's unbrella.
Says Gary Johnson, President of the United Way of Milford, "As always we are incredibly grateful to Harry Garafalo and his wonderful staff who support the United Way with this great fundraiser. Last year, we rasied $12,870. This year Harry and his associates are hoping to make $15,000!"
Volunteers from the United Way and the organizations it supports will be on hand to answer questions about the work they do. There will also be raffle baskets donated by Schick, the Woodruff Family YMCA, and Subway.
