During their Scout meeting on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, Milford Boy Scout Troop 18 presented John DeAngelo, Director of the Daily Bread Food Pantry in Milford, with a donation of $450 to help with the pantry's holiday food needs. The $450 represents a portion of the admission proceeds from Troop 18's recent holiday craft fair held at Milford High School over Thanksgiving weekend. The remaining proceeds will be given to additional local charities in the coming months. Mr. DeAngelo thanked the scouts for their hard work and generosity and explained that the Food Pantry continues to see an increase in the number of households that need food assistance.
