Milford’s Youth Positively Impacted By Club Involvement
The Boys & Girls Club of Milford, Connecticut, has been positively impacting Milford’s youth, resulting in an influx of enrollment. This has also prompted a temporary membership freeze at the Club.
“The Boys & Girls Club has chosen to but a hold on the enrollment due to the concerted effort by the staff to provide each participant with the optimal attention,” said Megan Altomare, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Milford. “It is with a heavy heart that we are putting a hold on enrollment, but acknowledge that it is necessary to provide all current participants with excellent support from the Boys & Girls Club staff.”
The next event the Boys & Girls Club will be holding for their members is Spring Together Family Fun Day, with support from the Department of Human Services and Quinnipiac University. To find out how you can help, contact Megan Altomare, Executive Director, Boys & Girls Club of Milford, meganaltomare@gmail.com.
With the strong influx of participants, the Boys & Girls Club is seeking community support through donations. Participate in the Back-A-Kid program and make it possible for the Boys & Girls Club to provide programs and services for the youth of Milford.
