Milford Rotary 36th Lobster Bake

The 36th annual Milford Rotary Lobster Bake is set for 4–8 p.m., Saturday, July 28, at Milford Boat Works, 1 High St., Milford, rain or shine.  A raffle and commemorative T-shirt sale will be featured.

“The Lobster Bake has become a Milford tradition,” states Lobster Bake chair, Sam Bergami. “We know a lot of people use this event as the one time each year they get together, including people who may have moved away from Milford.  This event raises significant funds for Milford Rotary, which are returned to the community through the many scholarships and donations we make, as well as supporting our regional and international efforts, such as to eradicate polio globally. Truly a win-win for all involved.”

Milford Rotarians and their volunteer helpers will serve each guest either two 1 ½-pound lobsters or a juicy steak and corn on the cob, shrimp, cole slaw and all the trimmings including wine, beer and soda. Proof of age required.

Tickets at $40 each can be purchased at Milford Bank on Broad Street, Milford Photo or from any Milford Rotarian. No tickets will be sold at the door. Proceeds benefit Milford Rotary charitable endeavors.

We are also looking for volunteers.  If you’ve ever thought about joining Rotary or are looking for a way to give back, this is a wonderful way to do so.  Please contact Sam Bergami at 203-671-5871 for details.
