We @MilfordTwitTalk are so proud of our compassionate Twitter followers. The one thing I love about Social Media is that it brings you together based on what you have in common vs. how we might be different. So we decided to band together on this one.
Once our Twitter following hits 500, we will be donating $500 to Sandy Relief on behalf of the ENTIRE GROUP. A great group of people who, mostly, have never met are working towards the same goal. That is the power of Social Media.
Also, we are so excited about the 11th Annual Downtown Milford Lamplight Stroll on Friday, December 7th & Saturday, December 8th, and couldn't resist being a part of it. So, in the spirit of supporting our locally owned businesses, @MilfordTwitTalk will be posting all kinds of Deals & Updates for the event. We will also be posting the Downtown Milford Business Association Mobile App, where you can find additional information about Milford along with a list of the deals occurring during the event. Lastly, among the tweets, there will be friendly reminders on 'Downtown Milford Cares' program. This program was launched by the DMBA to assist in restocking the Milford Food Bank. Milford is a remarkable town with so much heart.
"Thank you" to all the retailers who have opened their doors to accepting non-perishable food items - Café Atlantique, Hudson Valley Bank, Me Boutique, Milford Photo, Park Lane Deli, Tranquility Wellness Spa, The Villa Gourmet, Village Vogue Boutique, Will-O-Wisp Beads, and the leasing office for Spinnaker Apartments.
Enjoy, Shop, Donate & be safe this Holiday Season.
