Milford Fencing Club holds 3rd Annual Fall Classic Tournament

17 Fencers in 2 divisions compete for local class titles

Milford, CT, December 18, 2012:  The Milford Fencing Club held its 3rd annual Fall Classic Fencing Tournament Monday night at the Orchard Hills School, during which local fencers from ages 10 to18 competed in full electronically-scored bouts in two divisions. First place in the Junior Division went to Zach Bilcheck, followed by runners up Sebastian Morelli and Calvin Foreman. In the Senior Men’s Foil Division, first place went to Andrew Hiza, after a close and spirited bout with the runner up, Matt Jason. Placing third in that division was Nathan Domogala.  The club is also announcing open registration for the Winter 2013 10-week session starting on Monday, January 7th at 7:15pm. Beginners are welcome, and the cost is only $150 which includes all gear and expert instruction. Fencing is an elite Olympic-level sport most commonly found at private schools and universities, and the Milford Fencing Club is proud to offer local classes accessible to all ages 10 to adults, with instruction in both foil and epee.
