Harvey M. Hutchinson, 78

Harvey M. Hutchinson, age 78, of Milford, beloved husband for 34 years to Barbara Hutchinson, died Sunday, July 17.

Mr. Hutchinson was born in Bridgeport, CT, to the late Kenneth and Myrtle Ford Hutchinson. Harvey proudly served in the US Marines in South Africa during the Korean War. He was an Electrical Supply Manager for Grand Light and Supply in New Haven and Spectro Lume in New York.

In addition, he worked for Electrical Wholesalers in Fairfield. Harvey was a Masonic member for over 50 years in the St John's Lodge #8 in Stratford, CT. Harvey enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as fishing with his many Irish Setters.

Survivors include his children: James Hutchinson of West Haven, Jeffrey Hutchinson (Bonnie) of West Haven, Mark Hutchinson (Eileen) of Illinois, Marcy Hadden (Alec) of Milford, Kathleen Heltke of Meriden, Louis Paolillo (Christine) of Missouri, Susan Lamparelli (Richard) of Milford and Barbara Butler (Gerald) of Milford; 16 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and several brothers and sisters. Harvey is pre-deceased by his daughter-in-law, Deborah Hutchinson.

Friends are invited to attend a mass of Christian burial directly in St. Mary's Church, Milford, at 10:30 AM followed by a burial in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford. The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
