Disaster Relief Jam

My name is Cindy Pepe and I am hosting a benefit at the Knights of Columbus hall in Milford CT in an effort to raise money for Milford Residents affected by the Hurricane. I have partnered with United Way of Milford to be sure that the proceeds from this event be distributed back to our Milford Residents.  It started with me hoping I could get a few local bands to play and I am now having to turn them away due to lack of space.  I have many bands coming, as well as, comedians from Jokers Wild in New haven. I have a DJ and a Caricature artist/Henna artist coming out.  I have some business owners who have offered to donate %10 percent of their proceeds to this event from now until then. Local restaurants and businesses have been gracious in offering gift cards for raffles and food for sale at the event. We will also have a 50/50 raffle or two depending on the amount of people.  I need to promote this event, I need to ensure that we get people in the door but I also need help with food donations and raffles.  I am looking for a door prize as well.  I am just a average person with no pull anywhere who has a strong desire to help.  Can you please help me to get the word out?  Thank you for your time!! Tickets can be purchased at the door!!
