Cathy L. Smith-Perron, age 53, of Plainville and formerly of Milford, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Hartford Hospital.
Born in Milford on May 15, 1958, she was the daughter of Norman and Lucienne Nadeau Smith. Cathy was a graduate of Milford HS Class of ’76 and for over ten years, worked as a legal secretary of the Law Office of Shipman and Goodwin of Hartford. A devoted and loving daughter, mother, grandmother and sister, Cathy will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Jennifer McDade and John Beers of Independence, MO and Lisa Beers-Cabage of Ft. Collins, CO., two stepsons, Mike Honorowski of MI and Craig Honorowski of MO, three cherished grandchildren, Jasmine and Mikaela McDade and Ariel Beers. Also her beloved sisters, Louise Hebert of Milford, Michele Tiernan of Derby and Loralie Held of Trumbull and many loving nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 9th at 10:00 a.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St, Milford, CT. 06460. Committal will be private. Friends and family may call on Thursday, September 8th from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association – CT Chapter, 2075 Silas Deane Hwy, Suite 100, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
