Milford actor Colin Lane will do a staged reading of Dylan Thomas’ “A Child’s Christmas in Wales” on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 2:00 pm and again on Monday, Dec. 10 at 7:00 pm at the Milford Public Library. Mr. Lane will be accompanied with festive music by talented singer and accordionist Rebecca Zaretzky.
A veteran actor and Milford resident, Mr. Lane has appeared on Broadway, off-Broadway, at most major regional theaters, and on film and TV. Most recently Mr. Lane played Macduff in the Elm Shakespeare’s production of Macbeth in New Haven.
Ms Zaretzky, an Oxford resident, Lauralton Hall and Boston Conservatory of Music graduate, is a promising young musical theater actress, who has appeared in several avant garde East 4th Street musicals, and with the Hudson Shakespeare Festival.
