A CONCERT FOR LINNY

A CONCERT FOR LINNY presented by Four Havens Music Society, Inc. and Nutmeg Symphonic Pops Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Dino Ciaburri.  Also sponsored by Gateway Community College and First Niagara Bank. 

Where:  Gateway Community College lawn, 88 Bassett St., North Haven. Time:  Noon to 5 pm.  

Purpose:   Benefit concert for a Milford 21 year old Gateway Community College student, Linny Henry, who is suffering from the devastating effects of Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, otherwise known as POTS.  Admission is free; however, suggested donations of $10 will be solicited and raffle tickets sold for amazing donations by area restaurants, theatres, retail stores, etc.   All proceeds from the event will be donated to Linny Henry and her family. 

Details:   Music throught the day by other groups; Nutmeg Symphonic Pops concert begins at 2 pm with soloists Wendy Gerbier, Kristin Smith, and Joseph Stango.  Program features Phantom of the Opera medley and West Side Story medley; also other pops and patriotic music.  People should bring their lawn chairs and picnic baskets if they wish; however, there will be food vendors with hotdogs, hamburgers, drinks, KettleKorn, and Rita's Italian Ice; also animal balloons for children.  Concert will be indoors in case of rain. 

Notes:  Nutmeg Symphonic Pops Orchestra is the orchestra in residence at Gateway Community College and is run by Four Havens Music Society, Inc., a 501c(3) non profit corporation.
