30 Teams Committed to Play In Milford Boys & Girls Club Dodgeball Tourney

And the deadline for new teams to register is this Friday, Feb. 28, for the March 8 tournament, which benefits the local Boys & Girls Club, at Jonathan Law High School.

Only 10 Team Spaces Remain—All Proceeds to Benefit Milford, CT Boys & Girls Club

Milford, CT—February 24, 2014—The Milford Boys & Girls Club is excited to announce that 30 teams are committed to participating in the 2nd Annual Dodgeball Tournament next month—leaving only 10 team spots available. New teams must register by Friday, February 28.

The tournament begins at 1PM on March 8, 2014 at Jonathan Law High School  (20 Lansdale Ave, Milford, CT 06460)—it is a 40-team double-elimination tournament. Championship belts will be awarded to the top team in the tournament.

“The Boys & Girls Club is thankful for all of the community support for this great event,” said Megan Altomare, Executive Director, Boys & Girls Club of Milford. ”Teams continue to sign on – it will be a great event for Boys & Girls Club members, supporters, friends and families alike. It will be a day full of friendly competition and fun for all.”

Doors open at 11AM for team check-in with tournament play beginning at 1PM. Friends, supporters and general public are welcome. Admission for spectators is $5 per person, kids under 16 are free. Raffles and food will be available for purchase throughout the day.

Teams can range in size from 6-10 players, each team member must be 16 years or older. Registered team members will receive perks onsite.
